Collaborators
Prior to starting this project, I spoke with a lot of people who I consider to be far more talented and creative than myself whom agreed to be a part of it. Their involvement in this project is something that I will forever be indebted to them for, and I can't thank them enough. This page is for them. Please support them in any way you possibly can.
Dan Duquette
Dan has hands down been one of the most supportive people in this project, it's not even real. Dan was an English major at UMass Amherst, also spending time at Clark University and Northeastern University, and someone who's opinions on my stories really matters. His feedback has always been so helpful, and then beyond that, we also collaborated together for an Interview documenting the halfway point of For Fires. You can check it out here!
John Amichetti, Jr.
Johnny is another friend I made at Boston College, and one of the first people I said a word to on the entire campus, even if it was just in passing telling him I liked his shirt. He is probably one of the best poets I've ever had the pleasure of personally knowing, and his work in Racing Hearts and Contagious Laughter absolutely blew my mind. The story was an idea I'd held onto for a long time, and his work on it truly made it a reality.
Michael Hegarty
Michael and I met during my time at Boston College. To be totally honest with you, I have no idea when we became friends, but all of a sudden, we were hanging out all the time, writing music and talking about things that 97% of people at Boston College don't care about. I really appreciated him for that, and I really appreciate his work with me in Week 2 of For Fires.
Jordan Ball
Jordan and I met in the Summer of 2009 at a mutual friend's bonfire, where we connected over starting freshman year together at Boston College that Fall. I have grown to have an immense respect for her photography and love pretty much every picture I've ever seen her take. She was able to take all the promotional pictures for For Fires, and I'll forever be extremely thankful for that. She's born and raised in Massachusetts, and a recent New York City transplant balancing work (that "whole real world job thing" as she puts it) and all the "good stuff" too. Please check out her work at jordanmballphoto.com.
Chelsea Trim
Chelsea has been one my best friends for over ten years, and her agreeing to edit my work during this project is pretty much the biggest reason that I decided go forward with it. The fact that she's willing to check out my work on a weekly basis and make sure I don't say dumb things means everything to me. Chelsea is a Boston-based blogger and photographer currently studying journalism at Boston University. I highly suggest you check out anything and everything she's ever done. All of her work can be found at ChelseaLTrim.wordpress.com.
Other Contributers
Throughout this project, I'm planning on bringing in a lot of my friends and colleagues who are interested in writing as a way to gain some new perspective on my own writing. While most stories will be written by myself, some of the stories will be written in complete conjunction with these friends. Whenever this will be the case, I'll be sure to announce it on the website, and add their names and stories here, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
